hello all not really on here that much now adays but got some free time so just wanted to say hello to you all and hope every ones good :).
done few bits to the car last year new seats/engine rebuild/paint freshen up
so heres few pics let me know what you think ...

thank you , step dads got mk3 cortina and as theres not many novas round here normally join the mk3 owners club during the year for the classics car shows lol bit of a mix match but good to get the car out and about

That's what I thought for a minute, but we didn't do any with red piping on the outside, looks very good though. Nice car.

Oh hello newbie, not a bad looking motor there, im sure we had a guy with a similar one a few years bacl, but i think he fell off the edge of the planet or something lol

lol yea i know fella been very busy with things but gonna try and get on here bit more , how are you spud?
thank you for all the replys got a 2013 to do list so will try and get few more pics as things happen :)
as for the seats not sure what there out of but found the on ebay and was a nice birthday present from the parents last year :)

yea im gonna be at billings was thinking of doing nats but not sure if the cars going to be on the road would do pvs but its my birthday weekend and got other plans so cant make it, i really want to see your nova looks stunning mate :)

Id say national weekend and billing are the ones that are a must, mines not quite as tidy as the camera makes her out to be, sills are getting quite scabby as is the n/s rear arch, will be surgery/respray time end of the show season this year!

ill try and get my finger out and get to nats but might be bit soon/impossible lol
i have to say mines the same theres a few bits that the untrained eye cant see ;) and the bonnet and boot ars still a slightly different shade of white but gonna sort out the inside this year and rust spot (which will never go away) and full respay next year and maybe a colour change :)

I need a big dong sorting out on my bonnet alone with a couple of stonechips, i dont really want to paint the full car as its the original paint, but polishing it yesterday and looking at it, there are years worth of scratches and swirls which even with a good mop, wont come out so a full spray is the only way, i needs to get my save on i think lol

yea i have the same problem i have a few rust spots and marks in places and tryed sorting them out but as you can see couldnt get the colour match right

Hey Ben, if you're doing body work before a possible respray, I'd loose the repeaters, aerial in the wing, locks & side stripe. Then colour code the door handles & wing mirrors, but then that's just me... Maybe even change the mirrors. You can also run it without the roof gutter sill trim. Imo it cleans the whole look up.

thank you for all the replys guys, will be doing bit more over the next few months few engine bit but mainly retriming the inside, will post pics when done :)

I like everthing about the car apart from the bonnet scoop, the carbs are especially nice :)
