I have been considering getting a carbon bonnet but my main concern is that unless its seen up close it will just look like it hasnt been painted correctly.

Is there any other combinations of colour you can get thatn black/black?
I wouldnt mind a black one with a re weave through it, also is it true the basic ones cost ?500 :?:

or you could paint the edges and leave the centre as exposed carbon

You can pick up good quality one's for ?350 and upwards now. Tho this is mainly for civics and other hondas.

To have a full bonnet made from carbon is about ?500. Tho you can get just a bonnet skin, which is then bonded on top, for a few hundred.

adding a carbon skin to an existing bonnet defeats the point of light weight carbon fibre lol

not that your point is any less valid, of course

Unless the point is for looks and not for weight loss. ner ner

Do as you please.

And please do a carbon roof skin, as well as a mould of the Gsi rear spoiler. And carbon racing mirrors.

Then stick some carbon rims on.
