Having bought a gsi this one will be going up for sale. Ive put a lot of time and money into it so bare with me.
I originally bought it with a blown engine, I sourced a replacement which was actually a much later 2005 engine which has no egr = win. I then fitted new water pump and cam belt kit, new coil, new lambda sensor, new air filter new manifold and gaskets, then we come to oil and filter, its had about 4 changes already due to a problem it had when the oil got hot, the lifters would go tappy. I put this down to wrong oil, needing a flush, cheap oil then figured must be something else up so had the sump, pick up pipe and oil pump off. Turns out the pick up was partially blocked however the lot went in a parts washer to clean it all anyway. With this done it was reassembled with yet another filter and oil and problem solved.
Onto the rest of the car, its had new back box, new wheel bearing and all new continental tyres. It has no rust at all and somehow no dents either, would really not believe it's done 75k which isn't exactly high mileage either.
I think it has 9 months mot and 3 months tax. There will be stuff ive forgotten so will update tomorrow
And the bad bit, the screen is cracked, however it cant go any further, is not a mot fail ane barely a seen inside the car. If it was an issue it would have been sorted like everything else ive done to it.
Price is £1000 ono which is very fair imo with the hassle free years you should have.
