fitting a k&n bolt on filter

right im fitting a k&n bolt on filter to my 1.2, im not expecting a power gain but the main reason is its because the top of my airbox has a hole in it and i got it off my mate for buttons. what i need to know is wht should i do with the 2 pipes on the back? i was gona put a breather filter on the big hose but what do i do with the little one?

is it just a vaccum is it?

it a vacum pipe to open and shut the breather value in the airbox

if the pipe points upwards, then a filter is enough.

I drilled a hole in the bottom of the K&N for the big one

it dosnt fit anyway grrrrrr, anyone got a spare airbox lid?
