A properly hand painted car can look amazing. The chap that lived at the top of the road when I was younger did it. He used brushing belco and flatted between coats and polished to get a perfect finish.
The oldies on here will know what it is. Mowgli?

Think he should still invest in some masking tape with the money he saves from ot needing a compressor

And only 497,000 brain cells lost per panel.

hey.... i'm famously crap at bodywork.... i just save money & then pay someone to do it....

even though i once did a technical college evening class in it... & managed to rebuild the body on my opel kadett (mk1 astra) in 7 weeks... i simply took a panel a week into the class, depending on what the lesson was & got pretty good at lead loading, lol
