Novas are rubbish!

i have had a gut full of my nova im totaly pissed off with it, nothing ever goes right, you just throw all your money at it and it still keeps fuking up,
i wish i had left it as a 16v, some advice.. never bother doing a turbo its more trouble than its worth plus you never have any money!
i got well stressed to day to the point that i went to punch my tyre and missed and twatted the alloy- nice split knuckles :lol:

i think we all need to have a decent car as well as a Nova to keep sane!! as you get older (ill speak for myself anyway) i have a passion for Novas and working on them but i need a good car to get away from them at times. :wink:

ive sold the corsa to a relative, and will be putting it back 2 standard. All parts avaliable shortly.

After either mk1 sr, or mk2 sr's. Possibly a 1.2. Really after a decent body more than anything. Can anyone help?

spax kit is 45mm, i wanna go lower. And I think 17s don't really suit a nova. But I may try then on when i find one, just to check :wink:

I used to own a Rover 214, but trust me, they're absolutely rubbish,
it's the rover engine & very unreliable, I'm only telling you this because you will have problems with it. Get a Rover 216 that has the Honda engine, very strong engine, good power band & so much more reliable.

Rover 214 Common faults:

Gearboxes - Very weak
Radiators leak all the time.
Most common of all - Blown Head Gaskets

Any Nova is more reliable than a Rover 214

I know exactly what you mean Dan. My LET is right pain in the arse at the moment. Glad I got my GTE,as not only summat to get around in,but a trash wagon,it takes a beating and still good for more. if only the Cav was that reliable. :(
