Just need someone to clarify what I need to do to change the 1.0L OHV Engine to a 1.2L OHC Carb'd one. Mine is a 1990 Saloon.

What needs doing to the wiring?
Which mounts need changing?
Do I need to touch Tank or Fuel lines?
Is the Corsa 1.2 the same as the Nova 1.2?

Cheers, Sorry for the questions couldn't what I needed using search function :tard:

I think there was a few early corsa's with a 1200 carb'd motor but most are spi (crap) you need a 1200 carb petrol tank, run a return line, change the drivers side engine mount for any ohc mount. I think im right in saying you cant use the 1.0 gearbox so try and get engine and box already together.

there's very few wires to change, most are colour coded anyway.

What about the Nova 1.2 Carb motor would I still need Fuel Tank out of it to Swap with mine? Cheers

iirc the 1.0 nova only has one fuel line, so yes ideally you'd need to use the 1.2 carb tank.
