using seats to make doorcards

has anyone used seat material to make doorcards?

i have got some astra phase 2 seats and was thinking or using a second set to make some doorcards?

do you think it could be done with one seat or both?

It can definitely be done. It all depends on condition of the seats and how much of the doorcard your wanting covered.

I've heard of it being done before but needing 2 sets of seats to match quality etc.

I was in talks with a member on here about doing it in his nova but the plan has changed as it would be a nightmare sourcing the seats.
