a car with no tax or test? i wouldnt pay that much for it. you need to check ALL the common rust areas before you go in for it, despite the mileage. could be a good bargain, but for £800 i'd want a test on it personally

dunno reily as most people want 3 door hatchs,
and it aint doing it good sat in a garden as it will start to rot
but for the mileage and it being as mint as you say you cant lose reily

Doesnt matter if its done 4miles,It WILL be rusty, especially as its a mk2.

This, any car can be made to look perfect and yet be fooked underneath (not saying the owner is trying to scam you, just generalising)

And any car thats been out in our climate/winters/hot days/cold nights for as long as a nova will have done by now, will have rust somewhere, take a magnet and a flat blade screwdriver and prod and poke at it, everywhere!

But even if it turns out to be solid, no car is worth that much with no tax or test!

If its good enough to put through an mot, then why havent they, im selling my 2003 astra and it had a short mot, i said it shouldnt need anything for the mot, and a few people tried to bid me stupid money because of this, so i put a full mot on it (a month early, but it proved my point) if theyre unwilling to put an mot on it, then it probably isnt 'mint' and wont pass, which is why they dont want to do it!

I am also curious.

Bike-curious.

That Nova sounds expensive tbh. As said, you shouldn't give much for a car out of test.
I ignored my own advice when I bought my Escort though. lol

Just give it a damn good look over. If it's a good car, it will pass another test needing zero or very little work.

It's worth keeping in mind that despite the mileage, it will never be sought after. Spend your money wisely.
