Thats it, all hollywood does these days is churn out se/prequels or remakes, in the hope that most people will go watch it based on other movies (be it previous films in a series, or originals).
Yeah I probably will see it. Maybe wait til its on bargain bucket £3 DVD though lol

The first one was good in its way, but the sequels are pretty hopeless, even by mindless action film standards. I love silly action films, but these films are just too lame to enjoy properly. It really doesn't help that the characters are quite unlikeable, I really couldn't care less about any of them.
The second film is terrible for the dialogue alone, with them saying 'brah' and 'holmes' every 10 seconds. The plot for the last one didn't even make sense did it? they were doing some job, and the girl suddenly decides to steal the car with the secret doo dah in it for no reason whatsoever.
I do watch them out of curiosity and the vain hope they might be good, but I don't actually pay anything to do so. I think these films do well purely because nobody else is making car based films, sure theres plenty of films with car chases in them but none that make it the central theme.

I kinda agree, the one with the drug runners...when i'd watched it i turned around and asked why they couldn't just get random drivers instead of deciding they need aload of street racers lol

ALL movies are meant for entertainment. Shouldn't stop it having good acting and a plot!
But as with any film, you can sit and pull the plot to pieces and spot continuity error after continuity error, but everyone seems to pick on the F&F films more than others, just amuses me is all, i think theyre good so :p

I like to be entertained yes, and suspension of disbelief is one thing, but they do take the p!ss a lot. They're far from the the worst films at it out there, but the fact they carried on and made 6 of them... and probably will carry on making more lol
