hi there i have a mk 2 nova gsi with 20xe conversion and spax sport front suspension and spax rears not sure how low its been dropped..... and need to replace my front tyres 195/50/r15 but had toyo t1r on there before and dont know what to replace them with would love some toyo 888 but out of my budget what would you recommend for about £90 the pair its mainly just gonna be driven on the road but i have a heavy lead foot..lollollol your help would be appreciated...??? :thumb:

the suspension is pretty much rock hard at the moment would the 45's be even harder especially over bumps....? or are they better handling/grip or is there much difference...?????

I had 195/50/15 tyres fitted to my OZ Rallye wheels which were 6J. I replaced them with 195/45/15 Toyo Proxes T1R as the 195/50's kept rubbing the front arches all the time. Now i've fitted the 195/45's I don't get any rubbing atoll.

I got my Toyo Proxes T1R's from tyredrive.co.uk for £187 delivered for 4 (£44 each).

Yeah stick with the T1Rs, I find them a great road tyre for an XE Nova

i have 6.5j x 15" wheels on mine and they dont rub on the arches....?

has anybody tried ( dunlop sport bluresponse) they look quite good on there spec..?????

what do people think of the yokohama parada spec 2 tyres....??? as i want to order some tyres 2moz and want something decent...????

The yokos are awful.

Kumho ku31 or the new equivalents. Or Pirelli pzero neros ftw.
888's are just a total waste on the road

think im just gonna get a pair of toyo t1r again had them before and aint too bad :( .... they are only £72.52 posted a pair :thumb:
