not as bad as a nova, but being a typical gm product, you need to look everywhere structural

If you know your way around a Nova then a Corsa B will be very familiar for you as its the same basic layout just shaped a bit differently. The standard reply to these threads I give is to take a torch with you, wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty and look over every single bit of the car you can gets your eyes on. Theres no point listing areas to look at, then you only look at those bits and miss something else. Basically spend half an hour checking every little thing, any bad points you can point out will help score a discount off the asking price.

ok cheers i was thinking it was sort off the same as the nova does a redtop fit in them with out any welding or do they need welding ?

it's generally accepted that Corsa's don't need stitch welding. unless it's rotten, in which case it'll still pull itself to pieces lol

Look on the b pillar for a crack as its a mot fail as it seems common on the 3 doods

B pillar crack is a good sign its been hammered to death.

Rust like fook around the rear wiper hole & internal of boot door frame at the base. Under radiator, they go there worse then Nova's. Drivers & passenger footwell, where the inner arch joins the floor pan, common to get holes in that area also.

Sport never had EPAS, only 1.0 12v or 1.2 16v 1998 on with airbag fitted.

The only place a Corsa like that should be seen, is precariously balanced atop a Kingfisher blue Rovef 100 in the back of a mk6 Transit tipper.

Stick it over the bridge and do it a favour!

I also find it amusing that anyone would soend 30 mins checking over a cars bodywork when it's as cheap as this one should be! lol
