i have been playing that, I'm in the wiltshire crusiers team, i think nl shud make a team on it, me civic does quarter miles in the high 8's

Use youre mouse to control the throttle button and up and down arrow keys for gears.
i know i cant 'stage forward' HELP!
Click and hold left mouse button on throttle button, up arrow into first move mouse very slightly forward until car moves forward, use down arrow to go into nuetral and stop in the green area.
but its really slow on my comp, can i do anything to make it run smoother?
On the race screen, graphics button on left, turn everything off!
downloaded it but it bailed on me
keep crashing on 'Saving race data' screen.

how long should it take to save it? im running it on 20mmx petium, not alot of power u see!

erm whats this "bracket time" all about??
the game is all well and good, but it crashes at any chance it gets,
try not to change gear as you go over the finish line, this seems to instigate a crash.

opps..., first thing i did after joinin the NL team was sort the gear ratio's out...now need $1200 to fix the blown engine pmsl....
my 9sec car now needs a good shot of nitrous just 2 get the fecker moving lol....Runnin 17secs now :-\

11.5 on nos 12.1 without
i pull away at about 1500-1700 rpm and then ease the throlle up (still quickly though)
the clutch feather is set to a little over halfway up.
just need to buy the magic gearbox to lengthen 5th lol

for fcuk sake, took ages n ages got my civic up to 572 bhp, 200shot nos ect, i put it into first at 130mph by mistake fcuked all the engine up... so i thought if i reset it i wud get money from equipment on it. so reset it. DOH!!! didnt get no money, left wiv nowt, start again, i must.
(im adicted to the game, nowt else 2 do at work) :cry:

how the frig do you win cash? when i go to race, it just says "prize money" with a $ but no numbers next to it,

Run the EASY tournement, work out what time you can consistantly run and put the bracket very slightly under. While racing if the oponent 'breaksout' drop the throttle and coast in making sure you don't go under you bracket time.
Some bloke challenged me earlier to a $700 heads up, If honest I don't usually bother with challenges while i'm building the car up but thought I'd have a go, messed the start up and ran a 9.3 :cry:

That is really lucky, as i hit the gear up button instead of accelerating. I started the race in 5th gear :o ! Did it in 10.9 which isnt bad for a 5th gear start

to get on the Evo leaderboard I need to run 8.0 which is like doing 8.4 in the Civ
$30k for the Evo, sold the Civic for $20k then spend all of it on everything for the Evo lol

I set my Honda bracket at 10.1 (without gas) and could always run within a couple of hundreds on it, made a few grand in chat from bracket racing punks, then sat there for about an hour doing amateur tournament 25 times lol
Is there a seperate control for the gas? If so what is it.?

Yeah you click/hold the green button and push the mouse forward and hold it there :D

net surfing with a 200 should be fine.... the net is the slowest part
as mister fester demostrated to me, the turbo is cak. you need a blower (i was sceptical, but when you see the power curve with the high boost pulley you'll understand)
but atleast now i have both sets of kit lol

So what have you guys done to your cars??
I've got:
stage 3 turbo with blow vavle
Full exhaust system
boost control
HT leads and plugs
ECU upgrade
cold air intake
throttle bodys
High flow injectors
Low compression pistons
Nitto 555r tyres
Carbon gauges
200 shot of nitrous
All together it's about 394BHP (594BHP with nitrous)
Not too bad, but I can't get any good times I'm getting about 12.5 is my quickest with the NOS :cry:

the games just crashed on me. went to log back in after loading it up and it won't let me back in :(
now it also says 'game full no new accounts will be created'
the game gays up every now and again! i dont think they expected it to get this big
the key to getting big money is dont use nitrous, figure out what youre fastest time is without the gas and make sure you can run within .1 of it with a decent start every time, get in chat, go to the race room and then get mouthy with some americans and race for $3000 a pop lol

Keep doing the Amateur cup against the computer to get some easy money.
I'm still in the early stages with my car. I've got about 195bhp with the Civic and I'm running low-mid 14's. I Need to get some more money to get the more expensive mods.

If there is no maney in the team you cannot make or accept challenges.

running 8.6 now. not bad bearing in mind i know fuck all about gear ratios. just trial and error (and a lot of engine damage :))
bastards have now uninstalled all my equipment and reset my gear ratios to "remove all glitches from the game" :x

You add money so we can race once we all have better cars and start racing for bigger money i can distribute it between the team but at the moment we have about ?1100 and about 16 members whats the point in sharing that out.
Yes i am able to take money out but if you looked at the records i put it back straight away

Well ,this is a very good game and i own a Civic with a stg 3 turbo, intercooler, and lots of stuff and my times are (in general): 11.5s@123.5mph.
Hope this could be usefull.
By the way, i got a team called NQ Tuning Motors and i'm lookin' for some members to join in. Prices to be discussed when joining (team has no money at all)
