what does the the pin/bolt look like that holds the linkage to the gearbox fork (if thats the right name, the one that goes through the wite part of the linkage you have to spin around to accept the f20 box)
hopefully that makes sence to someone :tard:

can you still buy them from somewhere, or would i be better off bodging a small bolt and nut in there?
STOP THE BODGING FFS Do it properly
You can buy them new from vauxhall, I would expect it to be the later version tho
The thread on the bolt would chew up the white plastic bit so don't bother

i thourght the nut and bolt idea was better then my first thourght of hammering a nail in there lol
do any other vauxhalls share the same style linkage, as i might be able to find one in the scrap yard

good stuff, i see the corsa c ones on ebay look similar but cost between 3 & 10 quid so they can fook off lol

The Corsa C ones don't have the pin you are after. I'll echo what Edd said...stop bodging lol a sloppy linkage is downright frustrating if you are trying to drive quickly - trackdays and what not
PS...Corsa B, up to Mk3 Astra, Cav etc will have one

Put up a wanted thread, I'm sure someone will have one. I've just looked at the Corsa C one again...I think you can use that but I prefer the one Edd has posted. It may be worth getting hold of a new plastic joint too to help tighten things up :)

my linkage has only done 44k miles but i still might buy some new nylon bushes
ive heared of people having issues with rose jointed ones, so will give them a miss.

90121253 fits Nova, Mk3 Cavalier & Calibra. Supercedes to 90446006 which fits Nova, Corsa B, Tigra, Mk3 Cavalier, Calibra and Mk3 Astra. Then supercedes to 90523189 which fits everything.
Get yer ar5e down to Looms for one.

thats what I'm going to do as i need loads of screw/bolts to fix all the panels etc back on aswell, i also need the bolts (or what ever they are) that hold the brake hoses to the calipers
I'm missing so much **** its unreal, i deserve a honored turbojolt day on here, when this piece of **** finally hits the road lol

My rose jointed linkage is one of the best mod I have ever done on any of the many Nova's I've had tbh mate, no idea what problems you can have with them, there's a guide in the articles section
I would recommend doing one to anyone

ive got two linkages so will fit this one and then is i want to change it i will rose joint the other
ive read of people having problems selecting all gears with the homemade linkage, but that could always be down to people fooking it up when making one i suppose
They only thing which people forget is the misalignment washers, then you'll have problems

am i dreaming it or is there something else i need to do to my gear leaver, as it was a 4spd originally do i need to cut something off!

The other thing with RJ linkages is that they are much more precise than the GM one so sometimes need fine adjusting to get every gear as there isnt the excessive play available
Yeh if you lift up the gear gaitor TJ you will see a plastic lug (it has an aluminium core) that needs cutting off on the right hand side of the lever. Remove the lever and cut it off with a hacksaw
I have a 4 speed shifter and haven't cut anything off, works fine

thats what i was told, there is a lug that needs cutting off as it stops you being able to select 5th
Thats on the gear stick on the car iirc
