Is there only one kind of Speedline Alesios? Or is there different kinds of alesios (e.g. alesio 1's and alesio 2's?) If there is any difference, what is it? Cheers

These was an Alessio 1, but it's ugly. It has the 4 stud holes showing,
there is no centre cap, it came otional as a studded split rim version, but trust me, they're awful. Don't think they came in a 49mm offset though.

They were factory optional extras on the Mazda MX5 in 14"
& to the Mazda 323 16"/17"

The Alessio 2 is a work of art, they covered up to
fixing holes with a contoured centre cap, they gave us
the 49mm offset & 6.5" width - perfect fit for the Nova.

BTW - Excellent Car mate, don't spoil it !

The Alessio 2 is a work of art

I totally agree.. There is no better wheel for a stuble Nova, i agree that compmotives are very nice too, but when i see a Nova with speedlines it seems to really stand out, as if someone really designed them JUST for Novas!

Even tho they are very common, i still wouldnt change them for anything. Altho i'm putting softstars on my white Nova when i have the cash!

When i see a car with a kingdom bodykit, i think it stands out, but it looks sh*te.

Not saying allesio's arent nice just not worth all the hype, there are so many around they are like a optional extra.

I personally would not waste ?800 on a set of speedlines and tyres just to have my nova look like every other nova. Rick

Hard to be different and still look good with your choice of wheels. Speedlines suit the Nova, sure there common, but i wouldnt put on a worse looking set of wheels just to be different!

I like the Dare's on your Nova, but there's 2 of them in my area with them, one with 16's and one with 17's. But there's only one other Nova with speedlines!

Unless you design them yourself i dont think you'll ever be different forever when it comes to wheels!

Its not all about wheels anyhow.

The allsieos look good on a lot of Nova's but not all.

I actually like them on your car Keith but they go well with the height of the car etc.

But there are definately Nova's out there that look odd with them on.

Very true, there's one in Belfast with a Bat Motorsport front, Fusion rear and Novadose skirts, with a shopping trolley spoiler!

Its got speedlines and they looks tiny and out of place!

I think the Speedline Mistral's would be a good alternative,
similar style to the Alessio 2's & available in 17" !
Prob look better on Mk1 Nova as the spoke are slightly more angular

i love the speedlines but for the money i would rather have sum compomotives. both wheels suit the nova (well relatively standard/subtle styled ones n e way)

keith they look the fcukin dogs on urs m8! hows that coming along n e way???

I have 15" mistrals but want compomotive MO's, have done for years but wont pay the money they want for them, i have had some but they were the wrong colour, should have just painted them.

That green car was one of the ugly ones with allesios i was refering too.

Well, this has turned out to be a long post seeing as i only asked a simple question about speedline alesios. While we are on this topic, is anyone selling a set of speedline alesio 2's, or know of anyone selling any? Cheers

if ya want to buy new try www.wheel-base.co.uk even though sometimes they are "not being made anymore" we bought 2 sets off them a few months back and got a good deal off them.

Rick Draper

I got a set of wheel base about 3 years ago on the pretence that they were going to be stopped been made and this was there last shipment of them. This seems to have been going on with them for a long time and TBH i recon its a load of bollocks and they cud be done for false advertising. PVD also advertise them and some clubs get a discount with them. Rick
