When at the tyre centre today getting the passenger tyres put on the right way, the owner made some phone calls and told me he was able to get a hold of new Kumho V70A K90 hard compound tyres at £80 each if I wanted them just now.
Firstly is this an amazing price?
Secondly, will it really make that much difference? The Marangonis were flawless on the 1.4, gripping so much on the track that on a few occasions I was kicking a rear wheel up on corners and not even noticing.
The only reason I have been upgrading the suspension etc is to compensate for having an xe in, wieght and more speed!
In other words, is it really worth the money just now or, do i just wait until my current tyres are worn out and see what deals he can get me then?
