after months of mucking about with it, months of changing bits, month of stress and sleepless nights, we got there in the end...
turned out to be a goose egg of an engine, possble damaged crank we think... changed engines and it fired up fine the other day.
now to fit the tow bar to the veccy and sort out the trailer

massive thanks to all who've helped :

i will do when i get chance haha, i used to have one on here when it was a daily 1.6 sport and then i started building a XE from a bare block but it ended up working out too costly for the power so just thought id do a v6 and make it for drag use :)

pretty basic spec, TTV XE flywheel, x30xe lower divider, f20 box, g cams, griffin auto-sport shafts hubs and mounts... only 1 seat, half a dash, fg boot, perspex rear windows (doors still to do) R888's on 6.5j 15" steels up front, basically theres loads of room for improvement and its capable of some decent times up the strip but mainly built for drag fun haha.

cant wait to use it now :D

i had a corsa sport, propper fun car should have lobed a v6 in it rather then sell it to mowgli lol

so have you ripped all the electrics out etc.. just basically its a bare shell, apart from some wheels & tyres, a seat and a massive oversized engine in it lol

1st car loom i went a bit trigger happy with the electrics and cut loads out... but when it had running issues i robbed a 1l 12v for the car loom just to be sure that wasn't the issue (which it wasn't) so the car looms thats in is still complete but thats something to look at doing shorty

haven't had anything like that yet mate... i had loads of issue with the first V6 we fitted and after changing EVERYTHING!! it turned out to be the engine itself, we think the crank wheel that the sensor reads. but AFM's, coil packs... check all the usual and make sure its fueling rite ;)

Nice one Jed, see you at PV. :)

hopefully before then mate, you going to any events soon??
