View Full Version : Toyo Proxes T1R - Cheapest Place To Buy?

I'm looking at getting some Toyo Proxes T1R tyres for the Nova in the size 195/45/15.

The cheapest i've found them for on eBay is £207 delivered.

I've also found a website (tyredrive.co.uk) that will do them for £187 delivered.

Before going ahead and buying them I was wondering whether anybody knew anywhere that I could get them cheaper. I've tried all the "cheap" websites like Camskill, Black Cicrles etc.

i would pay the extra £20 to go threw ebay unless thay do paypal as i had my card copyed from buying something off blackcircles once

Yes I have and they don't have the 195/45/15 size on their website.

Connor, the reason I'm looking for 195/45 tyres is because the 195/50's currently fitted scrub the front arches like mad. It's a piss take really as I can get the 195/50's cheap as you say.

Have you tried a local tyre company to haggle, if you mention you can get them cheaper you might get them to lower there price but you'll save on delivery ;)

It's too late now lol, I've ordered them off the website. They accepted PayPal so I just went with it. National Tyres and Kwik Fit charge £75+ each per tyre so I doubt i'll get them any cheaper than £47 each. As well, I'll be getting Conza ;) to fit them so it's easier/quicker getting them online.

Tried to haggle a few times with my local tyre place but they openly admitted they couldn't match the online price and were well impressed I managed to get some T1Rs for £50 odd a corner from Camskill

Apparently toyo have stopped making the old T1R model. The ones for sale are old stock. That was from my local toyo rep at the end of last year. They have a new version out now.

I only ever use camskill for tyre needs.....5 mins away from my house so it's very handy
