battery in boot

i want to put a battery in my boot to power all my ice how do i connect it up to the alternator ?? can i just run two wires from the battery terminals in the front to the ones in the back?

i think u need a split charger its wot i used 2 use when i wired ambulances
also make sure its a fully sealled 1 other wise it'll fill ur boot full of sulphuric acid fumes

Sealed battery's will have it written on them and no holes in the top. - Go to a battery distributer and get a GEL filled motorbike battery, then it won't matter if it falls over or which way up you have it!

do you really need a second battery?? the first thing you should do is uprate the normal battery and alt, if you do this and ur dash or lights still go dim then try a power cap to see if this helps, or you could just use an optima or exide up front!!
