Fuel return

I am about to fit a 1.4 engine with twin 40 webber carbs in a mk1 nova and wondered what was the best way of blocking off the fuel return on the tank

I've seen the rubber hose blocked with a bolt and jubilee clip, or change the tank,

That looks better i also thought about putting a bolt in the hose but thought there must be a better way

Next question what size is the return and feed pipes to save me jacking the car up

feed is 8mm, can't remember if the return is the same though
