For sale is my 2002 52 reg Vauxhall Astra Coupe
- 1.8 16v
- Light grey/blue metallic
- Mileage just under 93k
- Tax end March 2013
- MOT 27th September 2013
- Serviced September 2012
- Air con
- CD radio
- Remote central locking
- Deadlocks
- Factory fitted immobiliser
- Traction Control
The car is completely standard and in reasonable condition, hopefully the pictures show that it cleans up quite nicely.
I will be honest about the bad points now to save any potential buyer and myself any wasted time later.
There is a scratch on the bonnet which has been touched in with a colour pen (photo)
There are a number of fine scratches on the very front edge of the front bumper where it has been nudged up to a wheelie bin when parking
Two small scrapes on the passenger side, one on the rear arch and one on the door (photo)
A group of small scratches on the boot lid, where it looks like it has had a box dragged off it. (photo)
Some undesirable has had a screwdriver in the boot lock so the key doesn’t work, opens fine on the central locking
Clicking from the passenger side CV on lock
Gear change can be a bit stiff/notchy when changing down into 2nd and 1st, suspect linkage needs adjusting or is a little worn. Gearbox itself is quiet, I have no reason to suspect that is the problem.
Remote key fob can occasionally be a bit temperamental.
It looks like a lot of bad points, but it is a decent car which has been great for the 2 years I’ve owned it.
