View Full Version : my nova 1.3 sr, new project

so...............i got another nova, bought it few week ago local and got it shifted to its new home at the weekend, pics are a bit **** due to light, couldnt get any of it outside as it was dark ish and snowing when we shifted it, big thanks to eck for helping me shift it too.
plans are to c20xe convert it, as the 1.3 bike carb motor is going back to lad i got it off and even if it wasnt i would have still being doing that

made a start stripping front end out for stitch welding and engine swap etc

its not gonna be a show stopping minter , just a clean useable car

its not bad at all really battery tray has a little hole and bit soft on seam back of passenger strut top , rest of front is solid

little bit more done today, stripped all carbs and manifold off the engine, facet fuel pump removed, four branch off and all engine bay loom pushed back in to the car out of the way for stitch welding and painting etc.
had my apprentice doing most of the graft lol,his pay is buttons..... cadburys

car as it stands now, basicly wants shafts pulled out and dropped off its mounts and engines out

Today's progress engines out and dash is more or less out bar two screws. Couldn't get door open far enough due to car being closer to garage wall so will drag it over on jack when the apprentice is at school as he gets a bit carried away and don't want it falling on him
