hey guys, as above really. does it have temperature it opens up at or is it permanently open?

my oil temp gauge was reading 70 and the pipes still felt cool.

Yes the standard sandwich plate is thermostat controlled. Give it a ragging and feel them when the oil is at 110 and it should feel hot!
