does anyone know what this is for ?
is it something to do with the auto choke ? as i have manual on mine.
it has a live going to the connector, and and earth thru the carb, the vacuum hose coming from it, goes to one side of the choke diaphrapm, and as far as i can tell doesnt do anything.
can i unplug it from the loom and sling it ?

its probably never worked in that case vinny.
i think im gonna ditch the wiring and switch thing, along with the choke diapragm, then plug the vacuum pipe.
with the manual choke there, it doesnt actually do anything as theres no physical contact against the fast idle cam, however i do need to add a spring to the mechanism to control it, as the choke flap is staying more to the closed side than open, its just practically free-floating inbetween the manual lever and the carb (some cowboy before me has wrapped a piece of wire around the lever to engage it less), but its nowhere near enough where it should be, makes a hell of a difference to the running when its in the right position.
