Oil Change

Hi, i'm gonan do an oil change on me 1.2, and i don't know how much to put back in :?: who much oild does a 1.2 take, and what grade oil is best?

will b 2.5 to 3 litres just done mine today, don't 4get new filter as well

get 15-40w or some vuax semi and a new filter. think vuax do them both for ?8.

put in 3litres. drive for a bit and then check your oil to see how much you need to get it to the 'full' mark on the stick

Mate done this 4 me the other day...car seems 2 b runnin alot better! I used a semi synthetic cost me a tenner for both filter + oil

and buy a GM filter. not much difference in price but safer :wink:

be carefull when transpoting the oil aswell might sound weird but the lids arent as good as they look!

Try one of those oil flushes (purple tins) if you haven't had an oil change for a while they really clean out the cr@p!

Probably the best oil u can get would be 0-60w coz it'll be very thick when the cars running hot and very runny when it's cold to protect your engine more but it's prob quite expensive to buy this type - the bigger the range, the better!
