Nice to see another Nova in TV.

As i read i thought the pic of "now" looks great... Oh that's cause i took it at Billing.. lollol

Possibly, one day! I do still want another, and still have enough parts sitting to build a half decent spec car. Will still be there dribbling this year! Dave, will it be at billing this year?

Ah, thanks guys lol. I got in touch with jamie at totalvauxhall to cheer myself up a bit. Have a lot of time on my hands at the moment :-s
Anyway, I do like the old school features/where-are-they-now thing the mag runs. Its a bit of a way off being full feature-worthy, so thought this would be cool for now at least. The car was featured in mid 2006; ive had it since 07.. scarey how quick time goes by. So that is quite old school now lol.
I did send a few pics of the car - but i kinda knew they'd only bother with that one of yours Benn, lol.
I guess it looks a bit tame initially in this mini feature; not a lot appears to have changed since John had it; similar choice of mods/work carried out.. but you could say, by accident largely, im just honouring the approach John took with the car; in that shade of blue- i think its the only way that works.

I know just what youre saying with that, its probably the same thinking behind my nova, i dont want to change too much about it as for one i like them OE looking to a degree, and more than that, i dont want to take it too far away from it being Andy's old nova :d

yeah, cheers spudly. I didnt do a great job of explaining that lol. I am going to go a little more o.e with the car in next few months, but ultimately not as o.e as i want these days. Its all the rage ha.

I'm pleased the car is still around tbh! I'd come to the point where I wanted to do an xe nova, had I xe'd this I fear it would have been cubed by now, so in stepped the green gl. I think the fact that its small block, and that shade of blue (that people either love of hate) stand it in good stead. :)

Unfortunately Benn, there's more important things in my life at the mo that need the funds more than a nova build. Howeve if that was to change, I'm on it! lol

I know :) did you have a build thread on the car? Sure i remember pics of someone polishing it...

Yeah I'm sure it was on the old novaload somewhere. I found some of the build pics recently too. Dave did I ever give you a copy of the tv pics?

Yeah i have a fair few of the TV feature photos; on my old pc :-)
