Superchip for x16xe ... HELP PLEASE

Hi all i have bought a superchip which apparently came out of a x16xe corsa b but the lad i bought it off said he bought the car like it.. anyway i tried it in my mates x16xe corsa but it wouldnt work.. with the chip installed the the car wouldnt start at all. So what im asking is, is there anything i need to do to get it working? Or should it just be plug in job done? Just doesnt seem to work. Heres couple pics of the chip.....

did you put it in the right way round??

did you see it running the other car's engine before removal??

yeah mate, tried it both ways and still nothing.. what way is the right way? lol and no i havent seen the engine run with it. so i suppose it could be broke. are them chips meant to be plug and play?

they are, but get advice ffrom superchips.

you should be very careful with a chip like that, any static electricity could blow it
