Mk1 Hatch v Saloon front wing how much clearence?

Hi chaps im getting some fibreglass wings asap and wanted to know do saloon wings give much more tyre clearance than hatch? Possibly looking to run some slicks for 1/4 mile etc cheers

When i sold my saloon wings somone bought a pair for rallying as they gave better clearance than hatch heres a pic of my car lowered 60mm on 14's to give you arough idea

Ollie aka Trackdaynova ran saloon arches on his hatchback to gain better clearance on the front end, also helped for camber toe.
