x16xe not starting

hi all just after putting a x16xe into my nova. wired everything up as in the how 2 section but when i try to start nothing it just turn over. i earth the wire to flash the codes and it comes up with 1503 (electronic immobiliser incorrect signal). so i was wondering where i was going wrong any help would be great :thumb:

Have you taped the transponder to the transponder ring? It needs to see this in order to start.

yes john did that tried it on the key as well but still no go
