5 stud drums

Is there a 5 stud drum setup that would fit a nova as i do t want the woes of rear disk or

Sure will but I have heard with big front brakes like v6 you may struggle to get a pedal as the master cylinder is too small and there is no upgrade, unless you run a pedal box which means loosing the servo

Im not looking to as big as v6 brakes, i might have a look at what size vec b brakes are

Can't you just weld up the holes then re drill them to suit? Obviously where the new holes go will need building up first

Before i decided on 5 stud i wanted bigger drums anyway to fill the wheel up abit as you cant fit a ciggie paper behind the fronts

if I recall correctly its only the 56mm piston calipers available in the vec b wich is the problem in a 288 and 308 disc, the 256 are still four stud the same as what you have

I will find away round it, i might even drill the disks, before i fit the bearings to the hubs i will use the hub to markup the disks and drill them

Would mk5 astra backing plates fit?

Iirc anything other than the Corsa stuff will need the disc convo plate fitting. Even for drums.

I'm unsure of the hub to beam fitment though, like benn says, you might need fit adapter plates if it's not the same.

Im not going to fit the whole axle just the backing plates and stub axles
