hi all,
been loOking around an seen a few people talking about megasquirts. can anyone tell me what it is? benefits of it on a e16se, i.e power gains? price and how easy to fit?

Megasquirt. It is standalone DIY engine management. Probably the cheapest management available if your willing to do all the work. google has all the answers.

on a standard engine.... minimal power gain and maybe a slightly improved fuel economy. BUT a good way in to learning howto calibrate an engine since you'd be doing well to hurt it lol

imho megasquirt isn't 'that' cheap compared to the mainstream stuff, but its definitely better value.
fingers crossed, StuartSquirt will be coming later in the year.

3 years :p lol at last I have been given the software and about to be given the training to actually design a pcb properly.

Brownbear and I came up with the logo last year...... you wont want it anywhere near your car lmao.

but yeah, sloths can will appear sooner.
