Say I buy a 3.2 v6, could I fit c25xe heads, sump, manifolds, management etc with the 3.2 cams and a 4 bar regulator, Now i think this works but can't remember. Would I use 3.2 head gaskets?

any help would be nice!

I reckon you can use the 3.2 block and heads an the c25xe management, inlet and sensors etc

That's what mine is running, only made 3.0 power on the rollers though so not convinced its the perfect set up.

I was lead to believe the compression is low on the se engines making them a little lazy compared to the older xe engines.. Are you running a after market fpr hobbit?

But running 2.5 heads has raised compression. Running 4 bar fpr

Sorry maybe not clear, my engine is exactly the same spec as your first post :thumb:

Not quite as high as I thought but as good as a standard let and possibly a slightly cheaper and more reliable option..

2.5 and nos seems to be a cheapish way to make a quick nova.

I know but surely 3.2 with Nos would have a lot more to offer?

Apparently the shorter stroke on the 2.5 makes for a more revvy engine, and the power on mine does tail off way before the limiter. Nobby's 2.5 is quicker than mine. Also Dave Dixon gave up on this engine and went back to 2.5's, that says a fair bit imo.

Given the choice I'd still stick with the 3.2 though, saying I have a 3.2 nova sounds way better down the pub... lol

Tbh that is the reason I wanted one! Stick with the 2.5 then
