corsa 1.2 16v inlet manifold

Does anyone know if you can split the plastic inlet manifold away from the injectror rail to leave the injector rail and plastic flange. When you look down at the manifold their is plastic tabs allong the top that looks like you could split the ecotec inlet ducts from the inlet flange.
