exactly.
Youll need the wiring loom from the x16xe. Possibly, ideally (?) the wiring back to the petrol tank too. One from a mpi nova will be best i guess. Or youll have to make your own. With relays.
The fuel lines, pump and tank off a mpi nova too yes.
Brakes - a servo system off a mpi nova. Calipers and discs from an astra mk2 gte/cavalier/calibra 4 stud 256mm.
I think you should be ok with drive shafts. The f10 gearbox your existing 1.2 uses will bolt up and work off the x16xe, but its recommended you use the stronger f13, or even an f15. But again, they should marry-up to the existing shafts.
The x16xe ecu has an immobiliser on it, so unless you fork out to get it by-passed (reconfigured) youll need the transponder and key from the cars ignition barrel the x16xe came from.

You will need an F13 or F15 gearbox...the F10 bellhousing is too small to fit over the 16v flywheel. Standard Nova mounts and shafts are fine, just check your CVs are in good nick.

Other than that same as above

IIRC youll need to ditch the power steering and air con pump and get a new aux belt to allow you to use the nova engine mount.

wouldnt this mean using a different alternator bracket?

you might depending on how you run the tensioner for the aux belt. iIt might be ok without the power steering pump but i cant remember.

sorry, but this info is wrong.

will it fit if you use the 1.6 8v flywheel?

I think so, but not 100% sure

1.6 8v flywheel is same diameter as 16v one so no F10 will still not fit

ooop, apologies about the f10 mistake. Thought all small block 'boxes were the same.
