Hey folks.

In the move from my mates unit to my garage I seem to have lost the bolts for holding my exhaust manifold. Does anyone know what size and thread bolts I need to order?

I was going to just use normal bolts with spring washers instead of studs and nuts. Would that be a good move?

Thanks.
David.

get some m8 studs.

you can get them pretty much everywhere

if you have a seized bolt, you will probably snap it off trying to remove it, and then be in proper trouble

if the nut on a stud is seized, you can cut the nut off & save the stud.

M8, i'd still use copper nuts. But you don't have too, seen a few cars that don't.

don't use nylock nuts, i've seen it done before.

i've used normal nuts & spring washers before, but copper ones are the best to get

Iirc the copper nuts have a slight squash on them so they don't go loose,
