What's this blue plug for?

What's this blue plug for... it's hanging around... should probably be connected to something but what? Can't see anything in the Haynes and there doesn't seem to be anything within reach.

Blank plug on E16 loom looks like that, I think is the plug for the diagnostics, on mine it just pluged into a holder on the bulkhead

You can see it in this pic, just held in place by the black holder but does nothing

Just read another post about grounding the brown/yellow to get ECU codes, awesome :)
