hi just looking for a quick bit of advice to point me in the right direction, could someone tell me if the pictures of my coilover/top mounts look the right way round? ive tried so many different things an no way seems 'right', but i have just put it this way off the instructions from spax rsx coilovers on the website, although not the same way it came off the spring and shock set up that was on before. (although not using spax rsx's lol)
if its wrong maybe a quick list in order of what goes where would be brilliant! as it does'nt look right at all there

I think the bottom plate(black and rusty one) is upside down.

Also sorry its not in mechanical only just realised! Ok buddy yeah i was copying the spax link for fitting them an took some pictures of how they came out, yeah the bearing/plate came off the otherway on the last s+s setup, with it the other way round it does'nt seem a good platform ontop of collet (metal pointy thing?) lol

Does the top plate on the coilover not have a bearing in there already meaning there is no need for the large black plate at all.

if this helps ive put it together in the picture same as page 3 on here, only bearings i can see mate are in the rusty black plate, theres just a metal pointy spring holder/collet below that, above the bearing theres the vauxhall collet type thing and then just the top bit with the 2 bolts are sitting on said vaux collet, between the black bearing plate and the top bit with the rubber bush you can see just between

if it makes more sence its pretty much as you see it on page 3 in the link, you can see how ive got it then and might make more sence

ok thank you buddy, but like that what happens when you go right down? as like that it does'nt fill the threads up at the top i can still get more though past the thread's? shall i just use the first bit above the spring and the top rubber mount with the 2 studs on to bolt to the car then? and the nut and metal collar in the top of course lol

you need to take the bearing out the big plate (spring hanger). you need to use the bearing but dont need the plate

oh right ok, so which order shall i start with? The first collet above the spring, then the bearing? Then the vauxhall one then the rubber top mount with studs on ontop? Thanks need to get this cracked today lol

The first collet above the spring, then the bearing, Then the vauxhall one, then a washer i think? then the rubber top mount with studs on, the the cup on the top and finally the nut.
