got big plans for it now, looking at a full engine rebuild aiming for around 230hp and a full respray, will be updates in the near future

no staying mk1 and thinking of jenvys or maybe just stick with the carbs and see what i can get out of them, but i'm investing a lot of money into the engine. i have the spec but i cba to type it all out. but yeah, aiming for 200-230 hp. should be fun lol

Jenveys will be the key to better running IMO if your going to be spending mega money on the engine.

Looks tidy, R1 carbs will make the power, had 225bhp from a milder engine than what tom wants so un-needed expense at moment imo, try the carbs, if find it restricts then look into jenveys. People have the idea that jenveys produce more power, they don't, they just make a big bhp car easier to drive at low revs compared to carbs, but bike carbs tend to be better than webers at giving good mid range + peak power due to sliding chokes.

Iv got a bonnet prop that works mint to get them pins out mate.

Id get a small hacksaw, cut the remnant of the old cars hinge in half, then remove that and knock the pin out of the door hinge!

bit of a problem with the seats I bought. the mounts which are closer together fit, the others don't. I just don't get why they would be like this as if somebody has moved them they wont fit? confused dot com. guess I will just have to cut them off and re weld them on correctly.

im just going to try and get it as clean as possible including wires, rust and paint before the engine goes back in. will be a while yet I reckon.
