Wanting to try and do something different from the usual CSL reps/BBS choices. What do you think...

If I got them I would space them out more too. Just love that 4" rear dish!

Like it, doesn't need much more poke

Thanks. Because they're 20s a lot of forums have instantly written them off as a no no!

The rears sit square on the lip so would only need a lil whereas front might need a bit more.

Too big imo, the side on view you showed on facebook looks a bit rollerskatey.

The dish is nice though, RH do some mentally dished things for BMW fitment, I saw some a while ago for mine, 18" I think with what must have been about 5-6" of dish, judging by that being 4

18s would be too small really imo. The side on pic you talk of does make them look too big. Its weird seeing them in the flesh. Because of they dish they don't look anywhere near as big as some 20s I've seen where the spokes go right to the edge.

Initially i wasnt keen, but the more i look at the pics, the more i likes them lol

Might just be that the full side on pic is a really weird angle you'd never see in person. They do look a lot better in the ones you've posted. Still quite big though which personally isn't my style, but otherwise they're pretty nice wheels.

On another note just noticed the choice of wheel on the 200, which is impeccable :d Genuine TE37's? Or grids?

No good side on pics unfortunately. Think I'm gonna get them and if they do just look wrong I'll put them on the 7 instead.

Mark - they're Rota grid drifts. Car sold last week tho.

Ah course it did! Thought they were grids as they generally look higher offset than TE37's, but I've no idea what offset is like on an S14 tbh!

Always loved TE37's though, would love a set for the Nova but they're not that common in 15"/4x100... have seen a few sets before though so there's always hope.

Looks like same results as other forums, mixed bag.

Also, won't be selling CSLs, they'll be spare/winter wheels so can always go back.

As I said on cutters, rears look great front don't do it for me due to the dish.

However they have grown on me slightly.

I think they would look better with a dark/anthracite centre and polished lips.

Oh and what is wrong with BBS on a m?? Lol

lol BBS look great, just like CSL but want something different. Its like putting Speedlines or sofstars on a nova!

If youy gonna change them, BBS LM's are the only wheel to change for. The ones you posted arnt that nice.

Brutal honesty as always Benn! lol I don't want to go the same old BBS route tho and Ive had LM style on a car before.

I had to go for DTM style on mine due to limited fitments, but you know I think they're not too bad in terms of weight / function / aesthetics. If you're bored with how they look paint them. If you'd rather have a more stable ride then go as big as you can i.e the 20's, but the looks of those 6 spokes is quite show scene unless of course you paint 'em. I'm guessing there's going to be a bigger footprint with the 20's too? Which can't be a bad thing *DISCLAIMER* "Bad thing may or may not be a good thing based on the weather, time of day and sexual orientation."

Tyre sizes width wise will be similar to what I'm running now, obviously rim is wider. The weight of the wheels is suprisingly low due to its simple design so I don't believe they'll be much detriment in the effects on drivability. As you say they are more blingy and show scene.

Kinda look a bit cheap... Love the dish, but it's the spokes that dont do it for me...

You know what I think they are a breath of fresh air! Just about every modded one that comes through the doors at work has csl/rep rims on. I don't really see how 20" rims can be seen as a no no when some came with the 19" wheel option? I'd say the size of the car/wheel arches quite suits the larger size IMO. If you want for different I would go for it. The only thing I don't like is the front splitter!

Nick.

Cheers Nick, exactly how I look at it! Funny you've said that about the splitter, its the first thing people say about the car.

I like them, but I'd paint the centres darker, met grey or black, it will make the dishes look bigger too.

Id leave it on csl rims and spend the money on led rears and proper depos instead of the projector indicators
