Simple question
Do the 14" nova luxe wheels fit over the 256mm brakes
It's the bbs style wheel.

Searches google and have got yes and no answers

as a rule i stick to ....

wide 14" steelies & 15" alloys fit over 256 discs.

try & find the 15" luxe rims off the cavalier

I had to run 5mm spacers over my 256 brakes and ive got 14"sr steels, take the nova caliper off and bolt the bigger caliper on and see if your wheel will bolt back on without catching. Just cable tie the novas caliper out the way so you dont have to undo the flexi pipe

I don't own the wheels I'm thinking of buying some. Pretty hard for me to try them when I don't have any suspension parts on lol

Just take a hub and calliper with you bolt the calliper to the hub and give it a try one the wheels before you buy

They were standard brakes that i took off a calibra 16v that i broke, i orderd the disks to the reg number if the car i broke and measured them up and they are 256mm but its just the side of the caliper slightly catches the wheel. I recon once the pads have worn down a bit they will fit

haha can of worms, either way ive just bought pauls tigra wheels instead so i know they will clear the brakes perfect

They will need spacers iirc as the inside of the wheel is like a dish and catches the edge of the caliper.

not really a can of worms, factory 14" wheels usually catch on the caliper on a 256.

14" sofstar type wheels fit over 256mm tried some today as scrapyard , so some fit and some don't best to stick with 15's atleast they will fit over 100%
