Description: I am thinking of selling my pride & joy due to lack of use and other toys taking up my time. I have cherished this car since I bought it from the first owner when it was just under 3 years old with 1440 miles on the clock. The previous mature owner purchased it new in June 2002 and used it very little in the time he had it.
I bought it as an everyday car then got a company car a couple of months later so it then only got used mainly for shows in the summer.
I have had it serviced at Vauxhall main dealers every year with fully synthetic oil, it has had the cambelt & water pump replaced every four years and been run on Optimax/V-Power from new.
I have every bit of paperwork for it including the bill of sale, old tax discs, every MOT(Never had an advise), all service invoices, fully stamped sevice book, confirmation certificate signed by Tony Pilcher at 888, 888 sign off certificate and the supplememnts for the handbook. I have both remote keys and the code card.
The car is imaculate as you would expect for the low mileage and looks more like a 1-2 year old than a 10 year old car.
The paintwork is excellent bar a few little stone chips. The alcantara seats and steering wheel are perfect/like new as they are usually always covered up.
It has only been used in the summer months and is placed in storage over winter. It is currently SORN and in safe winter storage.
The car was fitted with Irmscher headlamps from new which have been converted to Xenon with a genuine Hella kit. I can supply a set of new genuine GM Xenons and all required parts to convert to a more standard look headlamp if you didnt like the twin lights. The rear is fitted with the very very rare Lexmaul rear lights. It also has a set of Irmscher sport style mirrors, again fitted from new. I do have the original mirrors.
Other than that, it is standard. It is running its original map and it drives like a dream.
I have removed the rear spoiler as it was something that bugged me. I bought a brand new genuine boot lid and had it painted and fitted by a Vauxhall bodyshop. I still have the original boot lid and spoiler which will go with the car.
I have a massive new spares package that I collected over the years as a insurance policy. It includes a new complete bodykit with a genuine new front splitter, full new suspension kit, set of new wheels, new interior trim(No seats or steering wheel), new brake pads, new air filters and new exhaust. New genuine GM smoked Xenon headlamps with all electric & a new drivers floor mat(Original is still perfect). I have a 1,000 mile old Alcon brake kit and a set of stripped 888 Alcon calipers. I also have press photos, press release's, a showroom poster and loads of other memorabilia. These are not included but are available by seperate negotiation.
