what alternators fit a 20xe

Iirc it needs to be big block as the mount points are in different places..

I managed to get an XE one to fit my old Sport as I needed an uprated one with my diesel battery to run my Cibies etc and help with starting(With 40's)

most 80's/90's gm alternators fitted the same.

some pulleys and lower mounting blocks are different between models.

Ive got a early xe alternator with bracket if you need one

I just swapped the pulleys over and it was fine

in those days, most alternators followed a std bolt layout. so if you have to swap a pulley, or maybe undo the bolts & twist the back round 60deg its not a difficult task
