This is the main reason your insurance is so high. Because of personal accident claims. Where do you think the money comes from? Us!

Well said Ian, everyone complains about the price of insurance but everyone wants to take advantage of the system!

Me and my dad were shunted by a truck which sent us off the road and onto the verge about 10yds. It damaged the bumper but not much more. We had been stationery and he failed to stop in time and hit us at about 20 mph. We were fine all that day - bit shaken but nothing else. The next day when I tried to get out of bed, my neck felt like it had siezed up and it was very painful if I tried to move it in anyway. Basically I had pulled muscles in my neck.

BTW crashing into the back of other peoples cars whilst racing them also puts up insurance costs for the rest of us  :P
