So then do you lie in bed at night wishing you hadent sold somthing, i regret selling my xe that came out of a calibra i towed for 3 hrs to pay for my nova ok so i got £400 and made a mahoosive profit on but still wish i was putting it my nova

Not selling but SCRAPPED! In 1996 nobody wanted snowplough or brown seats and dashboards, I couldn't even give the stuff away!

Wish I just scrapped the shell and stored the rest. My first ever on the road car and my first nova.

My first nova, 1.0 but dressed as a SR replica. Loved it and owned it for 5 years then I thought I'd join everyone else with a modern 1.3i car.....only to discover it was slower (really) and so boring.

I contacted the buyer but she wouldn't sell back. years later from DVLA it was recorded in the south of England with a motorsport licence....

Looking at modern cars, everyone of my mates cars that I drive is so boring. \Even my mate who loves 3.0 V6, he had a peogeout like this and now has a Jag, torquey etc but just boring.

my A reg. hatch.

it was truly rotten underneath.

it was parchment beige, it had the e16se & f13cr box that are now in my g reg...
it had gte skirts, rear spoiler, a reg rear bumper, snowplough (with a chunk missing due to mrs doing a general lee on a canal bridge), it had a brown check sr interior & brown dash..oh, and the 6j14 rims that ended up on bretts??/merris's sr.....

it went with the interior, bumpers & dash.

and like a fool, i sold the rims to baxter cos i didn't think to try them over my 256 brakes!!!!!

i also never ever took a photo of it, but it really looked like a factory option when it was first done

my mx5, would have been so much fun on some of these derbyshire back roads, honestly if someone offered me a swap my nova project for a decent mx5 i would bite there arm off!

Maybe my A reg SR. One of the earliest ones left and it had a really solid shell, at least it is in good hands now.

My old bandit 600, i payed 2k for it owned it for 12 months and sold it on to some polish fella for 2k on ebay 12months later the tax and test had ran out and he exported it to poland and ive missed it since the moment i handed over the keys. It was worth it as i used the money to pass my test, buy and insure my 1st legal car 5 years ago

Sold it for £400 as i got offered a Valver Corsa cheap and couldnt resist.

My mate stripped it in and scrapped the shell :(

back in 2010 i got a full nova gsi needing arches and a boot for heehaw then bought a mk2 escort an instead of jst working on the gsi when i could i gave it away for heehaw and it was broke for parts tht night lol

Only thing I regret selling was an xe that I got in a calibra a few years since sold it and 2 days later put a rod through the block on the loon cost me £50 more than I got for it to get a replacement gutted lol

Miss my old j reg xe as that was my first modified car I built but that was stolen not sold, had the loon 10 years and downt sell owt now lol

My old Corsa Sport which had 1 owner from new and 26k on it. Not the best colour in them but I didn't really care, I bought it in Birmingham and had it left on my door step for less than £1k. lol

I should have kept it for when I pass my test.

Just keep a look out for them all the time, although I haven't seen another as good/cheap since.

Nah I think i'll sell the 1 litre now in the new year. It feel's ancient, but then again I don't want change anything on it because of how original it is and the stupid low miles on it. lol
