I'm putting a red top in my nova but its k rag and needs a cat how do I sort that

I think it goes by the engine so if your xe was an early one it won't have a cat

Then fit a cat! 99% of valver owners jus say its an early engine or have a friendly mot tester!

Get a decat section and have a cat stored away when m.o.t time comes round

I would use a cat off say a 2.5v6 and plumb it in properly with a nice two inch system. Then you wont notice and difference in power imo!

Doesn't need a cat as the car never came fitted with that engine (no like model) so none cat test is required according to mot flow chart
