well picked this up on friday its only a 1.2 but im extremley happy with it

got round to a few things yesterday

first thing was get the slabs sprayed black and a good polish

the interior front seats are gte and are like brand new no bolster wear or anything there like theyve just come from the factory

the car is solid nothing wrong except 2 holes no bigger than ther end of your little finger

well the interior front are for sale as i want leather for her, so she will be nice3 with the flocked dash :D

Im changing mine for a grey one pretty soon and was wondering if you would do a swap as mine has got some marks on tbat wont come off but is perfect for flocking

Looks a nice start mate.
Some cream calibra leather would look nice in there to go with the rest of the interior.

gave it a good wash today with the weather being so bad and sorted the noisy dashboard and the squeaky clutch

Update been away for a while on tour......

Brought some new things for her

Clear indicators,smoked side repeaters, new petrol cap as the one on looks gash, some hids amongst other things

she won't be out on the road till next year having a full respray this year and new engine in January, few things I'm going to change before she's back on the road again, looking for a decent place to retrim my interior will have the dash flocked while that is happening amongst a lot of other things.

Need to find a garage near home as she's tucked away at the garage near my mums and my wife will start to moan me going there every weekend so little bits and pieces will be done here and there until I can get it near home

Does anyone know where I can get new window seals as one of mine has a hole and there starting to deteriorate

This one's been round the block a lot..I went to view it with my brother in Essex 2, maybe 3 years ago. Seen it round a lot since then! I've known one of the people that owned it after that. Used to have a 1300 SR lump in it.

Check the engine code on the top right hand side of the block as you look at it from the front (on the lip that sticks out where the cylinder head meets it). Wipe off the dirt and grime - it will either say 12ST or 13SB if its a 1.3 motor in

Well hopefully if all goes well once she's stripped to the bone there's no rot hiding :/ , gonna try get it back to mint condition if so before anything which could delay me, however it's having an xe or let in January depending on how I feel :)

Tidy mate! looks in really nice nick.

Few questions.. How did you fix the noisy dash?? and what material is used for flocking? looks spot on when done properly but not an expert. May have to invest =)

Ill pm u about the flocking mate, and the dash I took out and put some rubber seals where it mounts to the car and some thin sponge where it rests

Put the car on eBay within 1 hour it had 22 watchers I had loads of emails and then was sold, as soon as I get back the guy is coming to collect it, either going to gt another nova or a corsa and start from scratch sad to see it go but need a fresh base
