i have a TOAD C5 cat 1 alarm on my sr at the mo, but need it transfering onto my new car, is this posible?? i just rang the company that fitted it origianlly and they say they wont do it:(

or shall i just fork out another ?300 and get a new one

doubt anybody will touch it, if they do you want be able to get discount off yiour insurance!!

payed ?250 for my toad Ai606 with extra sensors!

look in the back of totalvuax/fastcar

guy comes out and fits it for you.

if you have booked to have the alarm fied the ins company give you 30days to send them the certificate!

i was quoted ?325 to supply & fit a toad ai606 with dome sensor an if required total closure, an also remove my old alarm
didn't think that was too bad for what the alarm is

whats the dif between the C5 and the i6o6?? ive not had any probs with my alram that on.

I had a Clifford Alarm fitted to my Nova few years ago, cost me nearly ?600 with all the extra sensors, bought a GSi 2 months ago & had the alarm & every sensor transfered over from the same Guy for ?70 !!!!

Try & get it swapped, just keep ringing around !

if you have cat2/cat1 its only valid with a certificate!!

i think the ai606 is like the newer version of the C5

i got proxy sensor and extra glass break sensor with mine for ?270. think could have had total closure insted of proxy for ?280
