As above does both chassis legs have to boxe or is it just one off them ? iam not sure .

If you are on about modifying for a 2.0 engine, then the cut out section in the chassis leg is for the alternator pulley. Since there is an alternator on just one side of the engine, then just one chassis leg needs chopping about.

Please explain, what exactly are you trying to do? Do you need to replace rotten chassis legs or something?

yes as one of mine has rotten its self all the way up to the spring and i just want to know if both of the legs have to be boxed or just one off them ?

i looked at novadaves car last summer, and i didn't see the chassis legs.....cos they simply weren't there!!!!!!!!!!

trust me, you don't want to see a pic.. the rest of the car is pretty good, & it amazed me that it hadn't sunk at the back, but there was no metal there

Get that all cut out, Leave about an inch of the side walls, got to a engineering place and get them to bend you come 3mm thick steel in the same shape. Weld it in.

i got a top engineering man going to be doing all the welding and making the stuff that it needs hes the top engineer ive ever known were he works hes called the dog lol iam getting the boot all redone as well :)
