My girlfriends GTE is ?630 with no mods or anything on the car, she is 21 with no experience or NCB and lives in a area that isnt catorgrised due to high crime rate so every case is through an underwriter. (fully comp)

best I ever had was ?287 fully comp for a standard GTE, full ncb, no points, and being a 27 year old home owner with the car in a drive will have helped.

Car I have now, a 1991 2.0 8v Astra SRI, CIS were taking ?330 TPF&T, Swinton are taking ?190.

I think brokers are getting a bit cheaper than these so called "specialist" insurance co's. Shop around is always the best advice, wish I'd taken it when I bought the astra rather than pay almost double for 6 months

my insurance is coming up for renewal, they have quoted me 450 odd fully comp, thats with one years no claim discount, not driving any car :cry: , told me im not allowed until im 25 :evil:
