if I was to smooth the wings indicators on a Corsa b would I still pass mot?.

maybe you could rig some little repeaters up into the door mirrors or similar??

The official test method is to Stand level with the rear of the vehicle, and 1 meter to the side. Can you see light emmited DIRECTLY from the light source (not reflected)? If so, then it will pass. If not, it will fail.
